Not necessarily. I demoed everything and came away with a 917 D3 and a HZRDUS Yellow. Longest and tightest dispersion than anything else I hit and this was coming from a Callaway loyalist.

I don't disagree at all, I love Titleist woods. The post was more of a joke. The poster knows I was kidding. Sorry for the deception

I laughed out loud at that. #Touche!

Exactly as Mesaman777 said. GolfinNut had been chastised on another forum for leaving yards on the table by playing Titleist.

Great thing about MGS. You can play whatever you like and not worry about upsetting the apple cart!!

Agreed. My point was play with what works. For me, TM drivers just do not work at all. Does not mean they are not good clubs just that they are not for me. And trust me I was surprised that the D3 worked as well as it did for me.

CG2, you're on the list with Foz of those I don't like. Purely based on jealousy.

Great looking bag, very similar in what I'm thinking of doing if everything lines up perfectly.

LOL. Thanks!! I'll consider that as a great compliment as Foz has a killer bag.

It's hard to imagine any changes coming to the current lineup. I'm really happy with everything. That said I do have the Srixon Z 545 driver on the way. Well just because a guy can never have too many drivers can he.

Absolutely not a bad thing to have a back up! :D  I only have one driver as I always trade my others in which I all too often regret. Anyways enjoy both of those puppies!!

No, agree with Ole Gray, every guy should have a backup: treat drivers like women .. don't touch 'em when they're having "that time of the month"....

Wait, was that a backup to the back of the driver or the bag? At one point, I think Carolina Golfer 2 and I had a backup to the backup of the backup bag, lol ha ha ha 😂😂😂

I know this will be a surprise to everyone....but at one point I had another full set, bag included, along with an extra (old) set of irons....

Now I just have an extra driver....and I guess an extra fairway wood (heavenwood)...and I guess now an extra gap, sand and lob wedge....and two other putters...and bag...

Great...after I just read what I posted, my first thought was "if I just buy a set of irons I have a backup set..."

      It’s been a while since I posted but it’s time to update what is in my bag for my first season of professional golf.

      There are definitely some improvements that I’m looking forward to but overall I’m pretty happy with my bag so far. It helps that this setup has me -2 thru 54 holes of tournament golf (and $1,200 in winnings) since the driver, 3wood and wedges went in the bag on June 23rd.

      So here is what is in my bag.

      Driver: Titleist TS3 - Diamana White Board 70X tipped 1” & 1” short
      3wood: Titleist TS3 - Diamana White Board 80X
      Driving Iron: Titleist 712u - Accra 110i X
      Irons: Titleist 714 AP2 4-PW - KBS C-Taper 130 X
      Wedges: Vokey SM7 - Dynamic Gold X100
      Putter: Evnroll ER2 - P2 Aware Grip
      Ball: Titleist ProV1 Yellow
      Glove: Under Armour Iso-Chill
      Range Finder: Precision Pro NX7 Pro
      Speed Trainer: Golf Stick Pro

      Carry Distances per GCQuad
      Dr (8.5*) - 290
      3w (14.25*) - 265
      2 (18*) - 245
      4 (21*) - 225
      5 (25*) - 215
      6 (29*) - 205
      7 (33*) - 195
      8 (37*) - 180
      9 (41*) - 165
      PW (45*) - 150
      50.F.12 - 133
      55.S.11 - 117
      60.M.08 - 105

      I went through a club fitting from March to early May, tried Ping, Callaway, Taylormade, and Titleist with trackman and shotscope. I went full bag except 3 wood and putter, so my bag now has:
      Titleist TS3 Driver 9.5 degree, hzrdus smoke 6.0 shaft
      Cleveland Launcher 15 degree 3 wood/metal
      Titleist 818 H1 19 degree hybrid, Tensei red 70hy stiff shaft
      Titleist 718 AP3 irons 4-PW, Project X LZ Shafts 120g, stiff flex
      Vokey SM7 48 degree F GRIND, Vokey SM6 52 degree F GRIND, and Vokey 56 degree M GRIND
      Ping B60 putter

      Here's the bag, June 2019
      Callaway Rogue SZ 9*, PX Even Flow T1100 white 6.5, 68g
      Callaway Rogue SZ 15* 3W, PX Even Flow T1100 white 6.5, 76g
      TM P790 3 iron, PX 6.0
      Titleist 690.MB 5-P, PX 6.0 - old school lofts. Plays 6-G in modern lofts. I've actually taken the 3,4 irons out after a few rounds. Don't really need them.

      TM HITOE 58*, KBS
      Scotty Cameron Pro Platinum Newport 2
      Titleist ProV1
      Jones Golf Utility Stand Bag, Navy

      Look at that offset!

      The results of the My Golf Ball ball study generated a lot of discussion and also questions as a result.  If one of those questions you had is, which model of Srixon ball will work best for me, the Z Star or the Z Star XV, then we may the answer for you.
      Four of our members were sent a dozen of each, and will be putting them in play on the course and putting green over the next 4  to 5 weeks to see which one works best for them.  They will report in regularly along the way with results form both.  So feel free to chime in with questions and read both their stage reviews to get their full thoughts.

      Our Four Testers Are:
      @Reesedw               Stage 1                  Stage 2
      @pulledabill             Stage 1                  Stage 2
      @ChasingScratch    Stage 1                  Stage 2
      @golfertrb                Stage 1                 Stage 2

      Not sure if anyone else has heard this yet or not, but I have been told that the new 720 irons (or whatever Titleist decides to call them) is set to release this August (2019). If so, I would totally expect to start seeing the announcements right before either the Masters or the recently moved PGA Championship. Anyone else have more info??
