Hey guys, new to this forum. I have this putter that was bought about 10 years ago. There are no markings on the bottom at all. I was under the understanding it was a Santa Fe when I bought, but it looks like a Coronado to me. Can any of you putter pros help me with this conundrum? Thank you!!

It is the shape of Coronado Classic. No markings on the bottom a little concerning. Hope it is legit.

Coronado 2. Looks like oil can finish. Date would be 98 or 99. Should have the model on the face and their should be engraving on bottom. Provide face and sole pictures.

Doubt it is fake, but could have had lots of after market work if the engravings are gone..... or it could be a rare Cameron.

On Cameron's website you can look at his putter archives and see what it should look like.

Ok really confused now. Custom shop stamp and no lettering. If someone got rid of the lettering on the sole and remilled the face you have lost a lot of weight on a putter that started at about 335 grams.

All we can confirm is that it is a Coronado shape and not a santa fe

Looks like a Coronado 2 that has been highly modified.  The Coronado had the Titleist stamp in the middle of the back flange and it moved to the heal in the Coronado 2.  Agree that with that much milling there is a lot of weight that would be lost and would guess the head weight is around 300g or less.  Looked at the archive and the registry and there is nothing like it that I could find.  It seems odd that the custom shop would even touch a putter that was that heavily modified and really doubt that they would do that much milling to remove all the marks.  Generally that would be a putter that gets sent back and not fit for restoration.  I have seen putters returned to the owner for less than that including the Mil Spec that I sent to them with top line chatter.  I will say though that if it is a fake they did one hell of a job.  Grip is right, shaft band is right and the Titleist logo on the back cavity looks right.

Coronado head shape for sure, I agree it's been modified likely in the custom shop.

I don't know much about this stuff, but it would be simple to take an authentic titielist shaft with grip and band and put it in a "knockoff" head. it looks nice, and if you like it, does it really matter, the only way this matters is if you are looking to sell it and get some cash.

Grip and shaft are easy, shaft bands for the older models can be tough. It is a lot of work for an OTR putter that would sell fully restored for around $300.

What I mean is that it is easy to take the head off of a real titileist putter, and then take that shaft, which already has the shaft band on it, and put it in a new putter head.
