Wondering what your favorite piece of golf memorabilia is? I'm fairly new to the game and love the products and memorabilia almost as much as the game.

 

I am a collector of golf balls and autographs. Some of my favorite stuff to do is try and create my own as well.

 

This is a drawing I did of Arnold. Lets hear your favorites....

That's a fantastic drawing. You have some real talent.

 

As for me, not much of a collector of things. But I seem to have amassed a large amount of polos and hats without trying. But they certainly aren't collector items. Ha

I collect headcovers. Scotty, Tyson Lamb, plus any fairway/driver/hybrid covers I can find. Seamus, Stitch, Rose and Fire, Robert Mark, Blood Sweat & Thread... got them all. I am learning to sew, which has got me interested in trying my had at some headcovers of my own design.

I like to volunteer at the LPGA tournament or other events that come close (did a senior event last Nov) as a walking scorer or standard bearer.  Generally the players will give you an autographed ball after the round.  Have a drawer full of balls I have collected;  one day I am going to get motivated and make a display.

Nothing fancy. Just a Buick Open Towel. I'd really like to have one of Arnie's Umbrella Lapel Pins though.

 

As long as my boats stay together I'm planning on going to at least one practice day at the US Open this year.

 

And there is a Symetra Tour event about 50 minutes away, I'll be heading there too 🤞

I mostly collect double bogeys.......

 

but I do have an Arnold Palmer auto'ed glove, I sent it to him and he signed it an send it back.....about 2 years ago i think

I still have the ball from first time I beat my dad.

 

I had him beat twenty years ago, and instead of taking an ob penalty. I tried to hit from under a tree, ruining my PW. Then he wouldn't play me for fifteen years after that. So I had to wait.

 

The ball is on a stand at my desk at work. I know it's not the kind of thing you're looking for, but it means world to me

For my Birthday, my brother got weekend tickets to the 2011 US Open at Congressional. We sat in the bleacher next to 18 the last day and watched Rory come down to win and lap the field by 8 strokes. Saw the awards presentation and everything. Best part was that the players had to walk by our bleachers to get to the scoring tent and everyone would yell at them to throw a momento into the stands... Mostly golf balls or sometimes towels or gloves. When Phil Mickelson walked by, a few yelled at him to throw them his Rolex, (this was the year that Phil hit a spectator with a golf ball at Doral and gave him his Rolex watch, lol). Davis love walked by and tossed a ball into the stands, hit a sleeping lady in front of me in the head (woke her up) , and the ball dead stopped next to her. Her hubby was in the bathroom and this young kid three rows up goes to dive for the ball. She picks it up and gives him the evil eye, lol. She then looks at me and asks if I want it and I say sure. She promptly goes back to sleep, lol. So I have David Love III's golf ball from the 2011 US Open at Congressional to add to my course golf ball collection.

I'd keep that at home in a shadow box! Plus it won't get ruined either.

I like it better as a conversation piece.  Plus I wouldn't want something in a shadow box that had my picture on it.  Good idea though!  It was a pretty cool experience.

Nice! I'm trying to hunt down some vintage stuff right now. I just love the look of all the older golf stuff. The head covers are a good idea too. I hadn't even thought of them. Do you have pictures?

I have my Ticket, and a Flag from the 2015 US open I took my son and Father in law to.. 

 

As well as the bag tag for my 1st trip to Couer D'Alene...

I tend to (accidentally) collect "finds" . As in- cool stuff, mostly vintage, I find at antique stores, thrift stores, estate sales, etc. A couple of sets of irons, persimmon woods, old balls (no pun please), headcovers, bags, et al... It just seems cooler when you dig 'em out of obscurity.

Divot Repair Tools.

Not even sure how many, another container in the garage with a ton of them.

I have boxed sets of repair tools from the US Opens we went to as well as PGA Championship. I probably have 10 to 15 in my bag.

Whenever I see a bee one I get it.

I pick up ball markers from different courses I play and throw them in my bag, that's about it. I do have a picture of Judge Smails hanging in my workshop though.

I would have to say, my signed Jordan Spieth hat or the 2016 US Open flag my fiancée and I got signed for the man cave in our soon to be new home! (Jordan, Rickie, Bubba to name a few)
