Headed to Central Coast California

On June 10th I am heading out to Central coast California (San Luis Obispo area) to visit the in-laws. I will be there until June 19th before heading back to good 'ole Nebraska.

I was wondering if anyone on here has any golf course recommendations for me?

I played Morro Bay golf course last summer and loved it! The locals call it the "Poor man's Pebble Beach". It is on my list for this year as well.

Let me know if you have any recommendations!

Depending on how far south you want to go but I loved the Challenge Course at Monarch Dunes in Nipomo. Its a 12 hole Par 36 course next to the main course. Ranch San Marcos was a good track that has recovered nicely from the worst of the drought. BTW, going to Nipomo from SLO is worth it just to eat at Jocko's, the golf is just a bonus.

Awesome, I looked at the Challenge course at Monarch Dunes online! I will go check it out. Going to Nipomo is no big deal at all. My In-laws actually live in Oceano, which is right in between San Luis and Nipomo.

I will check out Ranch San Marcos as well. Is it walkable or would you recommend a cart?

Also I will have to eat at Jocko's!
