cycleguy55
Have the SS Fatso on two putters. Definite improvement over the pistol grip style putters in both putting line and distance control. IMO the only downside is the size of those things and how they fit into golf bags. I have a Sun Mountain C130 cart bag and it has a nice dedicated sleeve for the putter, but the non-tapered bottom of the SS Fatso was catching on the top rim whenever I needed to use the putter. I fixed it by getting a length of PVC tubing for built-in vacuum systems, cutting that to length and inserting it into the putter sleeve. Problem solved. Putter now slides easily in an out - even with that fat grip.

GolfSpy BOS
Personally I'm a fan of firmer rubber pistol grips. I LOVE the Scotty Cameron Pistolero I've been using. It fits my hand well. I also like the GP SNSR pistol (104cc size). The superstroke and other polyurethane style grips all feel slippery and squishy to me, although I also don't think I tried a proper pistol style of one of those either. Putter grips are so personal depending on your grip and what you like to feel. I think you'll always have some people saying one is great and others saying it sucks. bens197 1 Quote Epic Max LS 10.5 - Motore X F3 6X | Speedzone 5-wood - Ventus Blue 8S | TSi3 20* Hybrid - KBS Proto 85S SMS Pro 4-PW - Steelfiber i110S | MG3 Raw Black 50.09, 54.11, 58.11 - DG TI S200 ER2B | Pro V1x | NX9 Slope | Jones Trouper R | CaddyLite EZ v8

The thicker the grip, the less feel but much better at stopping your wrists from breaking down during the stroke. And of course something in-between to provide the best of both worlds. bens197 and GolfSpy BOS 2 Quote Driver: Qi10 10.5* ... Ventus Red Velocore 5R Fairway: Aerojet 3/5 ... You’re not the only person I’ve heard who loves it. Yeah, I just really like the exagerated bump on the pistolero. it locks my left hand in place well, but its not oversized for the right hand. It might have something to do with me being left handed (but golfing right handed) so when putting I get a lot of feel from my left and the pistolero's shape just locks me in. In reality its a simple grip really. Basic smooth rubber overall just nothing quite like its shape on the market. I need to try the Iomic I-Classic Putter MID, which I've read is close. Otherwise I'm considering having my fitter put a pistolero on the ER2B I've be testing out (surprisingly they only charge $25 for the grip installed)... but something feels weird to me about having a Scotty Cameron grip on an Evnroll putter. I want to get some putts in with the SNSR Pistol 104. I liked that one just picking it up, a little thicker than a pistolero, but felt good in my hands. It just wasn't on a putter and I want to feel it swinging. bens197 1 Quote Epic Max LS 10.5 - Motore X F3 6X | Speedzone 5-wood - Ventus Blue 8S | TSi3 20* Hybrid - KBS Proto 85S SMS Pro 4-PW - Steelfiber i110S | MG3 Raw Black 50.09, 54.11, 58.11 - DG TI S200 ER2B | Pro V1x | NX9 Slope | Jones Trouper R | CaddyLite EZ v8

Saluki91
I just put a Salty cork grip on my gamer... LOVE the shape and feel... Round grip with a flat top. The mid size fits my hands perfectly, and promotes the ideal amount of tension for my stroke. Putting it on the club is a little more invovled than a wrap of tape and squirt of solvent, but it is well worth the effort. https://saltygrips.com/

GolfSpy BOS
I've been putting around with the ER2B since getting it back in the mail. I had them put on the 100g Rubber Pistol over the gravity grip since I prefer rubber grips. Compared to the Pistolero its not nearly as pronounced up top but its also a bit wider in the hands. It still seems to work pretty well for me although I think I'd prefer it to be smooth like the Pistolero versus having the EVNROLL logo as adding texture to it. FWIW, I read somewhere (maybe MGS but cannot find it) that pistol grips exaggerate an arc style and are best for straight putters, and that no taper grips are best for arc style putters. I have an arc, and because I am such an impressionable MGS fanboy (aka believer in the MGS process and test results), I am trying the no taper Garsen Max grip. So far so good. I only have one round in but putting was improved over my old grip, and it definitely did eliminate pushes and pulls by taking my wrists out of the stroke even while improving distance control.
