GeekingGolf
I have my PW (rsi TP), a 54 and a 58 degree both of which are Mack Daddy's. Never felt the need to add a 4th wedge never mind a 5th! Saying that I do have a 2 iron and I play Links golf (from Scotland) so very rarely actually use my wedges. More often than not I'm bumping a 7 iron through to PW. So a high lofted wedge selection would not be to my benefit. I think a question like this would be very much dependent on where you play. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy I bet Links golf is a ton of fun...bucket list is to go to Scotland and give it a whirl "Obviously my iron play is incredible, and when I get going I can get hot, but this course just fits my eye. The shaping of the holes, and just a couple of the doglegs, I'm able to shape shots." – Bryson DeChambeau In my Hoofer Lite Z765 9.5 with Miyazaka Kaula Mizu 6 Stiff Shaft (TrueGolfFit Recommended!!!) Kenny B
I have all SCORs 58, 54, 50, 46, and 42 so 5 wedges if you don't count the 42 as a 9i. “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
scooducks
I carry a vokey 52, 56, and 60 and then my PW from my Ping i set. I actually won't swing a wedge full except the PW. I only hit 3/4, 1/2 swing shots. The 60 I MIGHT use once in 8 rounds. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy Yeah I'm with you on this one. Don't think I've hit a "full" 58 in two years. Honestly don't even know what that number is. Hit my 54* 105 yds, and my 50 115. Anything less I'm knocking down a 54. Forty yards and in I'll start using the 58 if I want a lofted shot. revkev
Your i200 PW is 45° stock. You could go with a: 49° / 50° 53° / 54° 57° / 58° 61° / 62° I'd go with the odd numbers if I were to "wedge out" the i200 set. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy Actually this is incorrect the Staff C200 is 44 stock. Small but perhaps important difference. Also it's important to recognize that you change the bounce on your wedges when you bend them. At one degree you probably won't notice but you need to be aware of that particularly on your favorite sand iron. I would never monkey with that one in my set. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy I don't notice a difference at all, 1* is very not much, if it was 3-4 degrees it may be noticeable. It all depends on what you are looking for, it may be better to for some to bend them weaker and and loft, which will also add bounce. epsanche23
I carry PW 45, GW 52, SW 56 & LW 60. I can hit a variation of shots with each to suit my needs. Pitching and chipping is the most natural part of my game so turning a 60 into a 64 is easier for me. So no real need to carry any more wedges. But if it helps your game then i'd say do it!
