Graphics will not be noticeably better on pc, but console frame rates are 30fps while pc frame rate is unlocked Ahh, did not know that about the locked 30FPS. I looked at the preview of the game and it appears pretty impressive. But at 62 I'm not a gamer guy and never will be. Don't own any and don't want it. I'm a guy that grew up without games like this. But I did watch TV on saturday mornings for a couple of hours. I was raised on being productive and being outdoors playing real games or inventing others.Things like baseball, riding bikes. exploring, fishing, stalking* the neighborhood wildlife with my BB gun*, swimming ,etc, etc. We'd build our own wooden push car race cars and make backyard pole vaulting sets. Play whiffle ball and front yard football. I could go on forever. It was fantastic. I certainly as an adult don't want to spend hours on hours of my life in front of a computer game. I'd rather play real golf and practice, piddle around my house, gardening, tinker in the garage, travel, entertain with friends, etc., etc. Watching TV is bad enough. And it's mostly crap. Ugh! * if any SJW (Social Justice Warriors) are reading please don't report me to the FBI police. I'm the exact same way! Yes, that's an awesome feature to have, but I want the gameplay to be great as well. I want it to be fun when I'm playing the courses I, or someone else, created. That said it is nice to see that some companies are trying to move towards a more realistic game rather than than arcade style the EA took the Tiger franchise. I have a Skytrak set up and enjoy playing the mini games that came with it. It is interesting to see that this game will support it but my main concern is putting. Will/can a launch monitor correctly see a putt? The other concerns I see to this is my current set up has no projector. It's just a net and I use an iPad linked to an apple TV to show the results. Ideally, someone has already recreated bucket-list courses and I can jump right in. Only course I would consider modeling would be my own club and that's just for the lolz. They are working on cleaning up some server issues to get the game running a bit better, but other than that I have enjoyed it so far. New swing mechanic is definitely more challenging than last year - glad their are multiple difficulty levels for the swing. Ball physics are so much better - much more realistic, especially around the green. Still think the rough is just too penal - but the great part about this game is you can talk opening with the developer on their forums. Altering the rough a little is something they are thinking about. Love the ability to customize my golf clubs a bit with head, shaft and grip colors, as well as set makeup.
