Ping G400

Anyone else excited about the new G lineup of Drivers, fairways, hybrids and that "crossover"? I'm looking forward to seeing some specs. From what I've been reading the drivers shouldn't be as noisy... I am in the market for a new Ugly Stick. I like the matte finish on the Ping.

My wife stole my G30 and is LOVING it so yea I'm looking for a backup driver to my Cobra F6.  It will either be a new Ping or the Srixon 565 however it will be a cold day in hell before either kicks my little snake out of the sack.

I saw a lot of mixed reactions with how it looks but personally I love how it looks. I won't be changing drivers anytime soon, but I will definitely be giving it a try at the shop when it comes out. It has such a simple look to it and would love to see the top of the club and how it sits behind the ball.

Looks like they added more texture to the crown.

 

I hit the G's at the demo day. Loud, but awesome ball flight. It was a toss up between F7+ and the G. The matte finish is what "sold" me. I hope the G400 is a little muted, from what I've read that sounds like the case.

Yeah. If I decide to pull the trigger on a new driver I'll be closely watching the G's.

I've always loved the G drivers, I wasn't a fan of the sounds of the last ones thou. Need to get back to that crisp "ping" sound they used to have.

Yea like the sound the Ping G25  driver had. That puppy would bark like a stud hound!

I'll be looking at the crossover closely. If it has less offset than the previous one I could be getting it to replace the 3i

I am hoping it is more like the Rapture 2 iron. Those things were beastly, and so easy to hit.

I'm looking forward to testing in around Sep/Oct in Singapore.I hit the G with the Kurokage XT shafts pretty well and so if the new G400 maintains or even improves then my next driver might be a Ping.

Anyone have pictures of the new G irons to be release in July 2017.  I know the Ping representatives have been making the rounds to various golf shops.  Someone has to have pictures!  Please release them.

I'm always interested in a new Ping driver. I've owned the Anser, Ping G30 LS and the Ping G LS and hit all of them great. I should have never switched from the Ping G LS. I've had longer hits with my EPIC SZ but I go through stretches where I struggle to hit it consistently and think I was better on average with the G drivers. I'll have to give the G400 LS Tec a try as soon as it's released.

Recently hit the Crossover and it's pretty incredible. I went to go check it out because I have a similar concept in the bag from Callaway (UT, 21*). The ping was much softer and forgiving. About the same distance as the Callaway UT though. One thing that was interesting is that I could get the Ping Crossover much lower than the Callaway UT. Probably a great club to put in the bag for windy areas.

Our Ping rep was in the other day and we had some guys doing some testing and the feedback was very positive. Our Ping staffer wanted a crossover that day, but was told he had to wait!

I didn't get much of a chance to look at it. I think it's the same finish as the i200 and iblade. Feedback I heard was better sound and it's very easy to get in the air.

They aren't soft at all but very forgiving with great spin you can trust them. I bought mine used off the bay for like $50 each

I never got along with my MD3s for whatever reason. They felt very heavy to me. My old cobra trusty rusty tour always makes it back in. However I do have a 54,58 glide on the way to go along with my i irons which I'm very excited for.

Does anyone know if they are making a new crossover for this next launch?
