New Ping driver thoughts?

The first thing that came to mind was, "oh, that's where those Nike patents they bought went". To me it gives off a Nike 440 Flex feel wth that back.

It would be hard to imagine how that would come into play with this release - I'm sure this club was in development well before they purchased the Nike Patents.

 

Beyond that I don't have the imagination that you guys do - I don't get excited by a few pictures - let's see what the real thing looks like and how it performs first - Ping is always on my radar whenever I'm considering a new driver.

And like Rev said, there's no chance the Nike patents had anything to do with this driver

I like the looks from the bottom at least, don't think I have seen a pic of the crown yet (matte again?). Nice and relatively understated though since this is just a prototype to get on the conforming list maybe the color scheme could change?

From address it could be confused with a G at first glance.

 

A little shorter front to back.   Bigger turbulators.   Dragonfly ribs extend all the way to the back of the head.
