Since I have gotten my official GHIN handicap last year, I have been a 9. I had a streak for about a month where I was playing great (7 rounds under a 84). Seemed like every round I was setting a personal best (79). However, all those scores are about to be replaced and my handicap will likely be trending towards a 10 or 11.

 

Hopefully I can turn it around and start posting lower scores. Hoping to shoot in the 70's a couple times this Summer.

 

Question becomes, how is everyone else's handicap trending?

Mine hovers between 13 - 15 with it sitting on 13.2 right now.

Mine isn't trending at all since I quit posting to GHIN and gave up chasing a handicap. My scores for some reason have improved. Mostly shooting 72-78. Granted I also quit playing tournaments too.

On the books I'm still a 6 but I've been playing under that lately.

Maybe there is something going around.  I've seen several posts from members that seem to say they aren't playing very well.  I'm one of them.  A month ago I was a 9.2 but today I am an 11.  Mostly seems to be that I am not getting up and down like I did last year.  It might be that I've been trying out different putters, and my gamer found out and is taking it out on me!

I call it the June slump.  Seems to happen every year for me.  Early in the season I haven't remembered all the bad habits yet, now I've played enough that some are starting to creep back in and costing me shots.

 

I'm to a 4.2 right now from starting the season as a 2.9.  It's cyclical though so eventually something will click and I'll head back down.

I am staying pretty consistent and staying around a 5/6. Really need to fix my chipping to be able to get lower.

Mine is at a 7.3 right now. It has only trended downwards so far. Unfortunately, it's got to go up sometime. I am bracing for that moment...
