I can't find the US Open thread on my mobile app. I said there that I thought that the distance at Erin Hills would not effect modern Touring pros one iota.

 

I was dissed for that statement.

 

I'm feeling pretty vindicated right now.

 

You could have ever par 3 over 200, every par 4 500 hundred and par 5 600 and someone would break 70.

 

It's not about the distance for these guys. They are long beyond our belief - even the so called short guys.

Well at the end of the day it's still a macho thing with these golfers. Rule number 1 no BMW(b!tch, moan and whine) about the length. Let's not forget it's the US open, it's supposed to be hard.
