A ton of History with this Major. Probably my favorite to watch. (Replays) There have been a few repeat winners. Anyone taking Henrik Stenson to be the next?

 

I'm taking: Rickie Fowler, it is his time, he fairs pretty well on Links courses so.... Rickie at -7 is way too early pick.

 

Edit: I'm going with Rickie or a Wilson Staff Player. Wilson seems to like Birkdale...

 

Anyone have any cool stories about The Open to share?

Can't wait for The Open. Underdog picks are Ryan Moore and Marc Leishman. Otherwise I'm going with Justin Rose. Rickie definitely is in there, but he just can't close...

I'd sure like to see Speith come into form and add a little intrigue to THE OPEN. Fowler has been so consistent, he's definitely the safer bet. Do you think Koepka will keep it up and be in the running?

I'd like to see a non major winner, or a Defended Title. Henrik back to back Opens would be cool. But I like Rick's game right now, and statistically Wilson Brand has faired really well at Birkdale...

Exactly. I always like to see the person playing the best rounds win. Every now and then a tournament is won because the top few slipped up and lost their lead.

 

How exciting would it be if a player won it that was sitting on the cusp of losing thier card, or one of the older players won. Those are the kind of stories I like to see come out of the majors.

I don't know, but that would be one of the best under dog stories there. He has really been struggling this year. It ashame too, as a tall guy myself I have tried to model my swing after his. It's so effortless looking and smooth.
