downlowkey 4,164
Alright Spies... I need help! Picked up these LONG wands at the thrift store for $3.00 a piece. Online info about 'Masterpiece Custom Golf' is non-existent save for their prior membership within the Dike, Iowa Chamber of Commerce. The finish on both putters is beautiful with fantastic face milling. It blows my mind that a small club company put out such exemplary work and then seemingly folded up into oblivion. Have any of you ever seen/heard of this company? The "mallet" is an SSP (Side Saddle Putter) setup; i.e. pitching horseshoes or washers. The "blade", labeled 'Locknrock', is damn near 5' long. The procedure with this broomstick involves tucking it under your left armpit and rocking your shoulders; completely taking your hands out the stroke. I have played around with them on the putting green; the balance, feel and roll off the face is incredible on both models. I have also discovered the 'Locknrock' can be setup on my left forearm, a la the Bettinardi - Kuchar Model 1 Arm Lock, subsequently passing the anchor ban test. Thanks in advance for the input, fellow Spies!
