The AP1s look really long. Not sure if it was the picture or not, but it looks like a rake

So ... AP3's?  Combo of both the AP1 & AP2 ... so the best of both worlds now?  I love the look.   Time for me to ponder a combo set now! 

 

It's supposed to be an "in-between" club with AP2s being the player's club, AP1s as a GI and the AP3 bridging the gap.

AP3 seems to be a similar blend forgiveness and workability in a tight package like the Callaway Apex and Srixon 565

No doubt, not the the clearest as to where AP3's fit and so on. I know its early in release though. I like the looks.

From the article the ap3 top view looks nearly identical to the cb and ap2. Guess there must be a market for it if they are bringing it out. I do really like the look of all 3 in the new ap series.

Not a bad idea in terms of adding to the line up but very odd logic for the naming convention. I would not have guessed it was meant to go between AP1 and 2.

I will probably need to get new irons after the end of next season, and I'm thinking the 9-6 AP2, 5-4 AP3, 3 TM-B. Love the new look, much better than the 716 IMO.

By the looks of the pictures I'd say no because the clubs that are forged say "forged" on them, but I couldn't see it on the AP3

I'm pretty sure this is correct from what I've heard as well from our rep.

Ah.  they look okay..I'd have to hit them to know for sure though.  I'm not sure if any improvement was made over last years model besides a slightly different take with the hype.
