I wish I had kept all of the putters that I have gone through. Too many to count but it would be an awesome collection if they were still at the house. Problem was when I was a broke teenager I would go to the second hand sports store and trade one in to get another one.

I used to do the same thing, with video game stuff as well. Looking back, I wish I would have kept everything. I'd have a heck of a putter collection and an even bigger video game collection.

Instead of consistently working on my putting stroke and alignment, I find it's best to just replace my putter and explain to the wife that it's definitely the arrow, not the indian. Then she asked me to make a list of all the putters I've purchased, used and replaced in the last 5 years.

Started Ping Anser - hand me down from years ago...classic but i didn't like it

Odyssey DFX Mallet - can't remember which - horrible, but thought it looked cool

Odyssey White Steel mallet - tiny insert, called it the trampoline

Bettinardi Mizuno BC3 - Goldlike flat stick....was stolen from me in 2013

Bettinardi SS 15 - loved this damn thing - blacked it out, replaced the orange with red and black- now its art in my room

Bettinardi Inovai 3.0 - feels a bit like great sex....current gamer

Reading some of these it seems like the putters was only in the bag for a couple of hours.  I used to be like this,  but decided to learn more about putting instead of changing putters all the time.  Still love putters but very few see any bag time.   On the lookout for a non-insert replacement for my current putter.

Oh man, if I could find one of those in lefty, I'd add it to my extensive list. I've always wanted to know what it was like putting with a ping pong paddle insert. I guess one could argue that TM's nubbins insert was a precursor to odyssey's o-works insert. 

 

FYI, the Nubbins putter line still carries a $14 trade in value on the PGA value guide. That's....amazing.

That's me too Rookie, I know in the last 20 years I must have has at least 25 but in my defense I bet I won 7 or 8 of those.   I have played, I mean really played about 5 of those over those 20 years.

A cheapo when i first started POS, i got from Fred Meyers for under $20..

 

then My current Snake eyes Viper SSI I built about 15- 17 years ago.. 

 

and I re-shafted a Ping B60 that i just used for about 3 rounds and switched back the the Snake Eyes.. and that was given to me.. 

 

I do have another Ping Anser that was given to me but have never putted other then in the garage on carpet..

I am positive that I could not list all the putters I own off the top of my head.  Heck I am not even sure that I could list just the Scottys I own off the top of my head.  An old pic that illustrates my sickness.  There are at best guess about 40 or so more putters that are not in this picture that were either in another bag or bought after it was taken.  

Shoot you are small time   I have over 100 counting all my vintage ones. I inadvertently got into Spalding TP Mills because over the last few years I have found so many on the pile at work. Then I have a slew of old Macgregors of course. My rusty Scotty is in the front line bag and I do not see that changing anytime soon. It is competing as my GOAT but the old Zing 2 has been around for 27 years and has earned more than enough money to stay forever. Not to misinform I do not putt or try to putt with all of my putters. Some I have had for years and have never even taken them to the putting green

I picked up a couple of Ping putters for nostalgia reasons the other day, a Zing 2, Anser 3, and a MyDay because I remember using them in high school tournaments and wanted to have them around again. Having been fit for my Edel now I realize just how poor a fit all three of those were for my eye now. The MyDay is closest due to the aim line but the full shaft offset probably had me de-lofting the heck out of it.

 

I'm over a month into the Edel E-3 and I can honestly say I think this is finally going to be THE putter.I can't for the life of me figure out why I didn't get fit for a putter sooner. It has changed my game!

I will get you an updated pic. I think my count now starts with a 2 if I pulled everything out and tallied them up. I have well over 100 on my home putting green.

I added an Odyssey two ball as a "project putter". Going to replace the white discs that were discolored and Duracoat the putter black. Should be a fun little project with no rush since the putter wont be going in the bag.
