robertson153
I was wondering if you guys wore sunglasses on the course? I've noticed most PGA guys have them on their head, but rarely have them on. I work outside everyday and got in the habit of wearing some. Now when I go outside I almost have to wear them or the brightness hurts my eyes. On a cloudy day, when I don't wear them, it seems like I strike the ball better. Anyone else do this or notice this? bacchus
Depends if I'm wearing a hat or not. I always keep a real cheap beater pair in my bag. If I'm wearing a hat I don't usually wear sunglasses, unless it's a hole where the sun is just brutal and it's hard for me to watch other people's ball or see my ball after my shot. If skip the hat for the day (don't want that Jon Rahm tan line) I typically wear sunglasses, but still find myself taking them off for shots time to time. geez2323
I always wear my sunglasses while golfing. Have the Oakley Flak Jackets with the bronze "golf" lenses. Really brightens my vision brings out the contours of the greens &I fairways. Super light weight and you barely realize you are wearing them. It gets bright out in AZ. Canucklehead
I always always always wear my shades unless there is total cloud cover. Also, bought a pair of Oakley "golf" lenses and didn't find the ball was any more visible than with regular polarized lenses Sent from my E6853 using MyGolfSpy mobile app

BDubya23
No shades for me, the hat usually does it for me. I wear them outside everywhere, but for some reason I just can't while I'm on the course. Rusty1885
I wear the Oakley prizm golf flak jacket. Love it! Gotta have the shade. Some of those guys on tour do not wear caps or glasses is for the face time. They all wear it at high school and college level what change? TV time. They flip them upside down so they can still get sponsor.
McaseyM
Hit or miss for me, I always wear a hat since I shave my head bald. If I do, it's usually short-lived because I feel a strike the ball better without them… Or at least that's what I tell myself with my handicap. I think a Rusty nailed it, many of the pros wear them on their heads or hats purely for sponsorship reasoning, because maybe a bigger sponsor has the chest, sleeve and/or hat placement rights?? Shankster
I prefer to wear magnifying glasses so it looks like I hit the ball further than I really did. Keeps me motivated... Honestly, I can stand sunglasses ever, I know they protect the eyeball, but I just started wearing prescription glasses and they are an annoyance. The frames mess me up, with peripheral. chershey
I've been using the Oakley Prizm half jackets for about 9 months now and really enjoy them. They help me pick the ball flight up on cloudy days and I struggled to do that before. I also feel like I can see breaks on the green with them on. Kor.A.Door
If you are looking for something less expensive, look into Tifiosi. I is use some with a EC lens (extreme contrast), so it's not too dark, but gives good clear vision when it's bright and sunny. Tifosi has many different types and most of them come with different type of lenses that you can switch out. Most of them cost less than 100 bucks, with many of them in the 40-60 dollar range. Zylem
Living in Florida, I have to wear a hat.
