Nice Round for Baby Animals

Wow, never seen a baby deer on the course! We did have about a hundred baby turkeys on the course here yesterday though! (that is literal, there are a lot of turkeys in this neck of the woods)

We see baby turtles, geese, and foxes all the time on my course. I'll make sure to take photos next time I see them.

2 weeks ago I was walking along the rough to my ball and heard some rustling behind me. I turn around and it's a fox stalking me! It's like he wanted to pick my pocket for some spare change because once I whipped out my 9 iron for defense he took off across the fairway, past my playing partners, and into the woods

Wow. We have foxes in our neighborhood (I've seen them in our yard as well) but never on the golf course which is only several hundred yards away. Every spring we'll see the adults and anywhere from 6-8 kits.

On the course we have plenty of eagles, deer, geese, turtles and frogs.

Love seeing animals on the course. Makes up sometimes for a bad round. Where in Maryland are you? I'm in Huntsville, Texas. Lots of forest around.

Southern Maryland. Our town is fairly wooded and surrounded by rivers but well developed. It's an interesting mix and we get a ton of wildlife.
