4Left 119
I am lucky that thunderstorms aren't really a problem where I play, but if I heard the sky rumbling, I am done. Other than that, snow or lack of daylight are the only things that cause me to turn around before finishing 18. We just played around them. The interesting part was knowing when the stations changed; if you didn't know which line came on next, you could get soaked. 1 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
bens197 6,957
In college I was playing one of the best rounds of my life. -4 after 8 holes on what was supposed to be a screw around day. We kept it light. No wonder I was playing well. Problem was, we teed off at 3:30. Dinner in college ended at 6:30. As any broke college kid can confess, it's hard to pass up dinner when you have already paid for it. To my friends amusement, I packed it up, took my par on 9 and we headed to campus. To me, the story is better than any chance of breaking the CR. TWar 251
Hmmmmm. I have walked off a few times. I find myself now during bad weather, watching my radar app on my phone to find out how serious the storm is and how long it might take to blow through. I was just in Rochester recently and a storm was coming through in waves. When it started to rain, I would find a tree (I know not the greatest idea) and wait for the wave to move through (watching the app) and then keep playing until the next wave comes. 2 Quote Epic Flash SZ 9o w/ Ventus 6X Rogue 4wd w/ ATMOS Red 7X CBX 20o w/ ATMOS Blue 7S tipped 1" JPX 900 Tour 4i - PW (standard lofts) Rifle SM6 51o, 59o, SM7 55o 2019 ProV1x Custom Ming
