For my 600th post (a mild achievement), it is kind of poetic that I get to celebrate first in my golf career. (a mild achievement)

 

It finally happened.  After trying to figure out how to put together a complete round and break 90, it finally happened.

 

My wife and I played together yesterday afternoon, and playing with my wife means that this is a legit score.  My wife doesn't give me any putts, doesn't allow mulligans, and overall holds me incredibly accountable. 

 

I played "boring" golf (keep the ball on the fairway from the tee, get as close to the green as possible on the 2nd shot, chip close and putt out) on the last 9 holes and for whatever reason, everything just clicked.  Can't wait to get back out there again and see what the golf gods have in store for me.

Thank you! I hope this is the start of a trend and not an anomaly.

I know the feeling! When I get my wife out golfing she loves it and really has a lot of fun, but it's like pulling to get her to the course in the first place.

For my 600th post (a mild achievement), it is kind of poetic that I get to celebrate a first in my golf career. (a mild achievement)

 

Mild achievement my fat dago ass! 

 

Breaking 90 for the first time is NOT a mild achievement.

 

The first time that I did it, people would cross the street not to hear me tell them about it again.

 

Relatives pretended that they weren't home.

 

Certain things are meant to be savored.

 

If breaking 90 for the first time isn't one of them, I don't know what is.
