I also subscribe to Clement.  Well worth the price.  I will check out Shiels.

I think you'll enjoy it. I have never used a high speed cam like Breed probably used. However, I did use an iphone and later a Galaxy S5 which produced great results.

I also used the Hudi app. Free to download.

Hudl is great. The instructor I took lessons from last year uses it. It's great for watching your swing or someone else's Frame by frame.

This is correct. I "subscribe" to his YouTube videos. Rick Shiels is also very good. Like U said it's Free Stuff.

I really like Shiels a lot. I know he's not everyone's cup of tea. But I l Ike his personality and while I'm no swing critic, I could watch his swing all day. It seems so perfect in rhythm,

What is the Hudi app? I can't find it in google search.

It's a instruction/video app that lets you download your swing for analysis. Kinda like V1 if you're familiar with that.

Not a huge fan of his presentation but I like what he has to offer. A lot the drills he shows use items you can find around the house. I was having trouble getting my feet square to my line when putting and it just so happened he was going over addressing a putt. Going through his routine really helped my putting.

Shiels is fantastic, he seems like a teacher I'd feel comfortable going to and seems like a guy I would enjoy playing a round with as well. His vids are great

Actually, I don't watch Mr. Breed or any of the instructional shows on the Golf Channel.   I have been working with an instructor for a while now and together we are working on improving my game.   Thus far, I am pleased with our progress so I don't want any outside influences getting into the mix.  Golf instruction is not a one size fits all.

He's ok by me. I watch him from time to time. He's been pretty successful too it seems. Good for him. Like most golf instruction you can usually take some and leave some. I don't subscribe to any one method or instruction.

Several years ago when I was using more video to analyze and improve my swing I purchased Breeds book, The Picture-Perfect Golf Swing. Best I've ever found if you're into this type of stuff. Lot's of other fundamental swing instruction in the book. The difference between his book and the TV show is that doesn't use any of his show props like swim noodles, coat hangers, or shoe boxes.

attachicon.gif20170704_152007.jpg

Thanks for the tip. I'm just getting into the book and it's a really good read. I've picked up a few tips already and anticipate that it'll help me big-time with my video analysis. The book itself is well made too, very durable in case I wanted to stash it in my bag for quick reference.

Love him. He has some great drills I've used over the years. But Mrs HighFade doesn't allow me to to watch if she's around. That voice....

I'm indifferent. Some days I'll watch the show and pick up some tips other days I can't watch... I would like to check out his golf academy in New York though... he runs specials quite a bit.. Way cheaper than the Butch Harmon lessons.

Michael Breed was on the "Playing Through" podcast this week and it was a really excellent listen. Love him or hate him, you can learn plenty about the mental game from the tips he provided. The first 5-10 minutes are focused on promoting his many ventures but the rest is pure, useful meat. Wanna learn a little about course management or time management in your warm-up routine? Great stuff here.

He also talks about everyone's favorite, Tiger and falls on the MGS-popular side of the fan behavior at tournaments. Oh yeah, and the Masters......that whole thing.

It's not a question of like or dislike really. I don't agree with everything he has to offer. That's perfectly fine, I take bits and pieces from a lot of different sources and come away with more knowledge and a greater appreciation for the game.

He doesn't move me one way or the other. I think he is creative in coming up with all the new drills and training aids, that's gotta be a brutal task to come up with something new everyday. I hear a lot about his overarching love for all things Titleist, but you gotta appreciate a guy who is loyal to one company all the time.

Every morning for 2 hours on PGA Tour Radio.  Like every other golf personality, he is polarizing.  However, I always find something good in things he says; it's just the way he says it.

We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

HE may not be everyone's cup of tee and he can't be a little too excited on tv but I can say from experience he is the nicest frreaking guy you will ever meet and he knows the golf swing. DUde is seriously amazingly generous with his time and has no ego whatsoever which is amazing giving how successful he has become.
