At Home Fitness Tips

Hey all... Just wanted to see what kind of workouts people do at home that help the golf game?  I don't have any weights but I have some resistance bands with handles and door anchors and what not but I just want to start doing some workouts that will help my golf game and obviously my overall well being. 

 

So if anyone has some great things they have done in the past or are currently doing please share and I will definitely start trying some things out.

 

Actually one thing I am looking for is how to build up my back because it seems that after I play a lot in a weekend my back seems to be pretty sore afterwards.

I like this short yoga routine:

 

 

I'm trying to get more flexible. My back feels amazing the next morning after doing this.

Yoga! There are tons of great online sources for yoga, even an Instagram account for Golf specific yoga (@yogaforgolfers). Increases flexibility, core stability, and overall stamina!

18strong is a name thats some of my physical therapy friends put their trust in. I've only seen a few of their videos and they seem to have good solid information especially when it comes to getting proper form down.

For those guys with back problems, chances are your up back is stiff so you are compensating by twisting at the low back in your swing. Look up thoracic mobility drills as well as core stability workouts to help with this.
