DK03
Looking to try a new ball. Have been playing the Vice Tour's the last few seasons. I'm a 12 handicap who prefers spin and feel over distance. Price matters — I usually can't stomach the $50 a dozen — but isn't most important. I've thought about Bridgestone or Srixon... anything else I should consider? hckymeyer
Kirkland if you can find them at a decent price. It's a great ball, but if you're paying ebay prices then it loses appeal. The Snell MTB is my other go-to ball and absolutely love them. Played the new Srixon Z-Star (or XV) and it performs great. You may want to keep an eye on the Vice Pro/Pro Plus reviews once those start getting posted as well. It's both a great thing to have choices, but can also be overwhelming when trying to pick. But there are so many great tour level balls out there right now that don't require spending $50 a dozen. Srixon z-stars, Wilson FG tour, Vice Pro/Pro plus, Snell MTB, Kirkland, Cut golf, Strok golf etc But my first recommendation would be to try the Snell MTB. PlaidJacket
Get yourself a dozen MG Tour C4 and a dozen Snell MTB. What the heck... go ahead and toss in some beloved PV1's. Then come back and tell us what you thought of these. See if your game is sensitive enough to tell if playing MG Tour C4 - ($2.16.ball) vs. Snell MTB ($2.67/ball) vs.Titleist PV1 ($4.00/ball) to see much if any difference. I'd wager that it's not. And probably not even if you're scratch. I'd further wager that any Pro Tour player could win using an MG or a Snell. Sure there are guys like us that will only play a certain expensive brand regardless of their skill level. All three of the above balls are excellent choices. For me... I'd probably go with the MG Tour. Second.. Snell. I can shoot a 75 or an 80 with any of these balls. Promise you it's not the ball that causes me to shoot either of those scores. In fact my lowest round of the season so far has been 3 over using an MG. Yesterday I shot 7 over (77) with a Kirkland. Surely it wasn't my swing? Or was it? Damn sure wasn't the ball. https://www.mggolf.com/golf-balls/#C4 https://www.snellgolf.com/ My Sun Mountain bag currently includes: 771CSI 5i - PW and PFC Micro Tour-c 52°, 56°, 60 wedges EXS 10.5*, 929-HS FW4 16.5* Willimette w/GolfPride Contour
Rekklss
Srixon Q Star Tour for me right now. Distance is about same as ProV1 for my 93 mph driver swing. Same distance on my irons between both balls. If I am not swinging well ... Bridgestone E6 - minimal side spin so I can find it. Sent from my XT1650 using MyGolfSpy mobile app

I'm currently playing the Snell MTB which I like very much. I still have a dozen Kirkland Ksigs and if they were readily available, it would probably be my goto ball. My wife plays Srixon Z-Stars and I like them too; great in optic yellow for cloudy days. We found last year's Z-Stars in Portland for $26/dz and bought two boxes. “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

Shankster
Wilson FG Tour. Just was practicing again with them. The most predictable ball around the green for me. It's almost like I can tell it to check or roll on command. I think I can get over the marshmallowy feel on the irons for the around the green dominance. It out performed the V1 and the TP5x.
