MaxEntropy 6,653
I'm looking at new bags and really like the idea of individual slots for each club. It drives me nuts when grips/shafts get tangled on the way in our out and current bag has 7 slots. It seems that some here don't like 14-way dividers. I would love to hear opinions/pros/cons from this group. Spur22 212
I have the Sun Mountain Four 5 with 14 full length dividers. I'm actually considering going back to a standard bag. The clubs still get stuck sometimes and there is no good way to carry an umbrella. Other than that I love the organization and it has been an excellent bag for the past 5 years. 2 Quote Bio Cell+ 10.5 Bio Cell+ 18.5 G10 24 Amp Forged 5-PW Tour Trusty 50, 54, 58, 62 Scotty Cameron Select GoLo 34 Srixon Z-Star I'm on Instagram as @sharpened_development_llc
Shankster 25,746
I have a 6 way, and simply put, it sucks. The dang clubs get stuck together. Actually tore a grip. 14 way is the only way, as long as they are full length. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
DawgDaddy 2,608
I am old and absentminded, I really need the 14 dividers to help me keep up with my clubs.. My favorite is the Sun Mountain C-130 but I don't use it anymore as it takes a little more than half of a riding cart and I sometimes play with folks who have the C-130 also. My current bag is very good, check out my sig. 4 Quote Driver - Epic Flash with Mitsubishi C6 Red 50 R-flex shaft Woods - Mavrik 3 Wood & Epic Flash Heavenwood Hybrid - Epic Flash 4H Irons - Rogue X 5 - AW Wedges - CBX2 54* & 58* Putter - ER2 Rangefinder - Bushnell Pro XE Ball - MTB-X Bag - 2020 Bag Boy Chiller Cart Bag

I like the organization of my Hoofer 14, but the grips getting stuck is really annoying. I thought this was going to solve that problem coming from my 5 way, but it didn't unfortunately. I love the bag though and believe if it had 15 slots so I could store an umbrella, the clubs getting stuck would be slightly less annoying. Kenny B 24,336
I have an older SM 14-way cart bag, and the clubs do get tangled with the dividers. I loved the bag and it's still serviceable, but when I went to the Pure DTX grips, the grips grabbed worse than on smoother grips. So I went to a 4-way Wilson Staff Nexus stand bag, and I love it. Yes, the grips get stuck together, but not as bad as the 14-way bag. It's nicer to use when I just want to head to the practice area. 3 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
Philly Golf Guy 444
I had 14 way for years and am now with a 5 way. While the 14 was great because it kept the clubs organized, it was burdensome having to find the slot the club belonged and then finagle it in every time. With a 5 way, it's much easier to get clubs in and out and a lot easier for it to stay organized than I originally thought. 4 Quote WIT Sta Dry Bag: Driver: '17 M2 Woods: M2 3W and 5W Hybrids: Apex 3h and 5h Irons: MP 18 MMC Wedges: MD PM Grind, 56* and 60* Putter: California Sonoma

BIG STU 7,464
Well here I am odd man out yet again. Does anyone expect any different from me? I have never used a 14 way bag and do not think I would like them because I do not even like a 6 way. Both of my mini staff bags I have the middle divider pulled out and it is only a 3 way just like the old days. 4 Quote Driver --- TM M-6 Evenflow 5.5 R 45 gr--- 4W Adams Tight Lies 16* Bassara 55g R flex-- 5W Adams Tight Lies 19* Bassara 55g R Flex--- Irons 5 thru PW Taylor Made TP CB ( 2018) Steelfiber I 95 R Flex--- GW Callaway X Jaws CC 52* stock steel shaft--- SW Cleveland 588 56* S-400--- Putter Scotty Santa Fe Bulls Eye Fluted shaft "Rusty" Bag Old School Jones Classic

Jay_nick1 84
I have a 14 way now, but it is not "full length". The full length is key otherwise you will continue to have the same issue with grips rubbing and clubs getting tangled at the bottom..
