Ok hit these today. First much better looking in person. Compared directly against the G and the Cobra F7. Better feel than the G's but still somewhat of a thwack feel. Still prefer the feel of the F7.

I'm wondering about performance though. The G just finished 2nd in the most wanted GI iron test. Given that I would never game an iron over a 6 they would probably be the winner for me. Beyond feel what is the difference between the G and the G400. Feel means way less to me than me performance.

I got a first hand look at these today at the PGA store and I was very impressed with how they set up and the badge did not bother me as much as I thought it would.  I could really see these being in my future. Next time up I will schedule time for a trial run!

I took a few swings at Golf Galaxy with a 7 iron....man they felt good...high baby draws!

I'll let u know in a couple weeks.

I went purposely with Mizuno's, Titleist, Cobra as my primary targets. Walked out buying the G400. The ball height and distance were the deal breakers.

Mizuno we're same as existing so laying out $1,000 on looks wasn't happening.

I did buy the G400's. I could not find a LH F7 to demo. Plenty of rightys.

I'm vary wary of buying anything for that kind of $$ without taking a shot or 10. Too bad I may have liked them.
