What grips are you using on your clubs?

I have been using Golf Pride MCC on mine, but they are just too much to replace so I am switching back to an all rubber grip with the Golf Pride Tour Velvet.

I had an interesting conversation with Golf Pride on twitter today and learned that the Tour Velvet is still their most successful grip around the world.

I like the non-taper Golf Pride CP2 grips - standard size...

Last year I had the blue ones, this year I went with the red.... not a big fan of the red and will probably switch back to the blue.

Nice - I really wanted to try them, but again, I just can't justify the cost.  You're looking at $130 a set, and that's if you decide to regrip them yourself.

I've been rocking Lamkin UTX grips since they came out. I buy a bunch when they go on sale. Hard to beat for the price.

I play the stock grips on my clubs.

When it's time to regrip, I'll go with GP TV or Lamkin REL 3 Gen. Cheap and used to the feel.

With the exception of my sand wedge and putter, I have grey standard Winn Dri-Tac grips.   My sand wedge has what ever grip Titleist put on it when my instructor ordered it for me.   I have the fatso Super Stroke on my putter.   This allows me to place my hands together on the putter, neither hand is high or low.

Driver/3w - MCC

Hybrid - stock TM grip

Irons - MCC Plus4

52/56 - MCC

60 - Stock Callaway Lamkin

I like the way the MCC feels, and the Plus4 in my irons. I don't like the lack of taper in my woods, so I still with the MCC, same with the wedges. I left the 60* grip stock because I get better feel around the green with it since it's so thin.

I try to take really good care of the grips to stretch the life -- I'm not sure how long they last since I just got them and I've been away from golf for a while. I'm back now though, so we shall see!

I found the golf pride victory cord at Dicks. Was my favorite back in the day and is still a very good grip. On my woods and wedges. Irons have the Zcord.

The driver, 3 and 5 woods have the DTX grips and the rest have the pros. I'm thinking of puting the DTX on the rest of the clubs.

Just went to the MCC 4 midsize. They are sweet but expensive. I've been using the tour velvet for years because of price, but they wear out quick.

They're my favorite grip also but man when it rains they get slicker than snot. That's why I now play decade multi compound.

I've been using the Iomic X-Evolution for 7 or 8 years now.  These are pricey grips, but they last a long time.  The grips on my irons are 2 years old, so close to 200 rounds, and feel just as tacky as the day I put them on.  They're also outstanding in the rain.

I feel you on the cost. If it makes you feel better, I put the MCCs on my irons when I bought them 7 years ago and still have the save grips. I clean them with dish soap once a year and they're still in perfect shape. Definitely have paid the initial investment many times over.

Agree on the Pure grips.  I have the DTX on my woods/hybrids, my MacGregor irons, and SCOR wedges.  I have the PurePro on my Ping i20 irons, but will eventually switch them out for the DTX as well.
