That's super nice of Shanks. If I had to guess I'd say it's from his R1, R.I.P.

For anyone else in the same situation, drivers without the wrench still do very well on the market as long as you put in the notes that you're missing it. The wrenches are super cheap and usually have free shipping.

Source: done it a few times myself.

Also to answer the initial question, many are interchangeable, but not all.  Some older Cobra's used a smaller bit, and some Adams had a triangle bit.  Older TM's had a wrench that was 35ft/lb of torque, newer use 40 I believe.  I'm not 100% on that last one, my memory is a bit fuzzy there.

All that said most of the newer clubs/wrenches are interchangeable.  I know TM, Cally and Titleist all can interchange now.

Close, they're in in-lbs. 35 was the yellow, the white wrenches were 40. Most others are 40 with a few exceptions

In The Bag

Strong 3 wood: Taylormade M1 15* w/ ProjectX T1100 HZRDUS handcrafted 75x

4 Hybrid: Adams PRO 20* (bent to 21*) w/ KBS Tour Hybrid S flex tipped 1/2"
4-AW: TaylorMade P770 w/ Dynamic Gold Tour Issue Black Onyx S400

SW: 56* Scratch Tour Dept(CC grooves) w/ Dynamic Gold Spinner
LW: 60* Scratch Tour Department (CC grooves) w/ Dynamic Gold Spinner
XW: 64* Cally XForged Vintage w/ DG X100 8 iron tiger stepped
Putter: Nike Method Prototype 006 at 34"

Have a ton of back-ups in all categories, but there are always 14 clubs in the bag that differ depending on the course and set-up. Bomb and gouge. Yes, I'm a club gigolo.
