Welcome and completely agree in golf all year round if you get the right gear you can play in almost any weather.

Welcome from the dry side of the state. Glad you joined us. Where do you play?

I play a lot at Riverbend in Kent,Wa. I play in their men's club. I mostly stick to the West side of the mountains but I love going to Eastern Wa to get in some desert golf.

I've played Druids Glen and really liked that course.  We have friends that we play with in Seattle and play different course around the area.

 

When it gets wet over there, come on over to the dry side!!

Druids Glen lost their greens on a few holes. Fired their greens keeper and are currently resodding them.

 

I really like golf around Chelan. Gamble Sands is a blast and I really like Bear Mountain and Desert Canyon

Sorry to hear about Druids Glen.  That was the course where my wife shot her first under 90 round; two days before her L5-S1 spinal fusion at Virginia Mason in 2008.

 

We just played Gamble Sands and Desert Canyon in May for my birthday.  We played Bear Mountain a few years ago.  Fun course, but not in a 25 mph wind!!
