Marathon Classic Preview, Pairings, and More

This week the LPGA travels to the state of Ohio for the playing of the Marathon Classic Presented by Owens Corning and O-I. Lydia Ko will be trying to defend the title she won last year when she defeated Ariya Jutanugarn and Mirim Lee in a playoff. It was Ko's second win at this event in the last 3 years. It was also Ko's last victory on the LPGA tour.

I was there for the finals today. It's a shame Korda folded - I would have liked to see her end at the top of the leaderboard.

You and plenty of others would have liked that. How did you enjoy your experience?

It was a great experience for my wife and myself as we've never seen pro's play. We liked Friday better than Sunday since there were a lot fewer people. On Friday you got to see the ladies a lot closer. On both days my wife kept saying " I can't believe she missed that putt"

 

We'll definitely be back next year.
