I've lurked this web site for the past 4 or so years before jumping on into the forums, really to try and win a contest or two, but also to mingle and just talk golf. In case you didn't know CNY is Central New York and I live around a half hour north of Syracuse. I earned three letters playing golf in high school and was all league, but didn't play in college. I worked instead and my game suffered for it. Then, I did law school and am currently studying for the bar exam in NY (probably shouldn't be posting this and studying instead, but here we are) While in law school I paid the bills by working at Dick's Sporting Goods (gasp! A Big Box!). I worked in golf for nearly 4 years and always attempted to make sure to give people information I learned here to help them consider their choices as it related to their games. Along the way I think I may have changed some minds and gotten more people to this site, and made a lot of loyal customers who were happy I didn't try to sell them on the hype and I thank this place for providing that information. People who work in those places do read here and other spots online, so it's all good. Lastly, I guess it's time for a quick WITB.
