BigtazzGolf
Maybe I'm a little behind the know but when did collarless shirts make an appearance? I kind of like them myself, but not the price I'm seeing on them. Nike seems to be the leader in this trend. What are yalls thoughts? TSauer
I also really like the looks of them, but I know I could never justify spending the $90 retail price. I've seen a few places have some for $60, but that's still too much. Then again, I'm a tight @ss when it comes to clothes. STUDque
Isn't this just another iteration to the golf fashion? Just because it's different that doesn't make it bad. And I'd bet they can tailor these things to look good on any body type once they get a little time to work on it. There was a time when shorts were totally unacceptable and nowadays you'd be hard pressed to find a golfer wearing pants during the summer. deejaid
I remember playing a nice public course in 2001 or so, when Tiger and David Duval were rocking the mock turtleneck/no collar look. It was January and I was wearing a nice golf jacket over the mock turtleneck, looking real sharp, and the guy in the clubhouse still gave me a hard time about not having a collared shirt on. I never went back to that course. Now, I always wear collared shirts even if I just go to the range. The new golf shirts by Sligo and Chase 54 are pretty hip looking, not an old school polo.
