yungkory
Great stage ones here. All of you guys have way nicer sticks than I bag. I am curious what yungkory and Jay_Nick1 think of the vice balls since I also tend to game the Nike tour black and have to find something else to fill my golf bag now. The random lost ball replacements I find on the course can't cut it forever! Out of the few balls I've tried this season, this one is the closest feeling to the RZN Black for sure. I am going to test it against a couple more 4-piece balls to see which one I like more, but to be honest, the Vice Pro+ might be the best ball for me in terms of performance and price. I'm not a tour pro so I don't notice all of the characteristics of the ball, but I'm able to keep the Vice in play off the tee, it doesn't feel mushy off my driver, and I like the ball flight I get out of it. I'm also able to stop it on the greens. yungkory
My stage 2 is up. Sorry for the delay. I wanted to get as many rounds on these as possible so I could really capture the different feelings. Not so much for the review itself, but for my personal situation since I'm trying to find a ball to game regularly. Then my dog chomped my face and I was out of commission for most of September. Anyone have any specific questions, or any pictures they want to see? Do you guys just want a bunch of glamour photos? I'm having a creativity block! yungkory
This ball sounds amazing, I am still on a the search for a new ball since I can't get any more RZN blacks... It's a really good ball, but I kind of jumped to conclusions when it came to finding the right ball for my game. After more testing I just prefer a softer ball because I feel like I can control it better off of my scoring clubs. I definitely recommend at least trying the Vice Pro line (I haven't tried the Pro Soft yet), the quality you get for the price is insane. sgold7
Durability and practice? So I've been working on some chipping and putting while at home over the last few weeks with some old balls. The Vice balls just got here and I'm wondering what everyone's thoughts are on: If I'm just chipping these bad boys indoors on carpets, will I wear them down enough that I shouldn't use them during rounds? If I'm only chipping for practice on where I want the ball to land---is it even worth practicing with the new balls? Same thing for putting? The 'feel' I'll be acquiring wont be tru cuz the putts will be on carpet and not grass? Thanks fellas! drewneddy
Good reviews. A board I'm on got us all Vice Pro Plus balls. Big fan. Very comparable to the TP5 balls. Good distance and excellent feel. I love the thick alignment on the side Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

On a full wedge with some fresh grooves, sure. Chipping won't hurt them to the point where you couldn't play them later.
