(3) Testers Announced: Odyssey O-Works Putters

Recommended Posts

Good luck testers, I have a brand new #7 on the way from Callaway Golf.  My 2016 Odyssey Works Versa 2 Ball had the mesh come loose from the face.  Callaway has quit making them so they upgraded me to this years O-Works but the heads won't be in until Aug 7th.  I should be able to add some input to the testing thread.

Needless to say I am sitting this one out.

Sage from Warren NJ

Have two big bags of different putters but current gamer is a shortened and counter weighted Bettinardi BB-53

My choice would be ODYSSEY O-WORKS RED #7S in 34".

35' Scotty Cameron California Monterey 1.5 with a Flat Cat Solution Grip.

I really have been thinking about making the switch to a mallet putter and really like the black #7. But curiosity is now getting the better of me and I've been seriously looking at the #2M CS putter. Even if i don't get selected, I really want to see the review on that one.

So to sum that bit up, the Odyssey Black #7 in a 34' shaft. I'd pick the red one because of where the shaft is located with no bend in it, but I'm in love with the black shaft lineup

Driving Iron: Callaway Apex Utility 18 degree with UST Mamiya Recoil (x-stiff)

Ken from Illinois (Chicagoland)

TaylorMade Spider Blade 12; Standard RH, 3 degree loft

Preference #1 - ODYSSEY O-WORKS V-LINE FANG CH PUTTER, 35" shaft; RH

Preference #2 - ODYSSEY O-WORKS #1 WIDE PUTTER, 35: shaft, RH

I believe they both only come in black, but would try in Red if available.

Note: These were both outputs from the Odyssey putter selection tool when choosing Blade once and  Mallet once, so curious if that's a good reference tool as well.
