I play on the road in the winter with orange or yellow spheres.... pretty much every day above 0° and wind less than 20mph.

 

It's like playing out of sand, but standing on ice, and the "fairway" is only 30 feet wide. Keeps you "planted" for sure.

Goodness... I would need padding for sure if I was standing on ice and trying to swing haha

Sounds like a riot though & a good way to get outside during the cold months!

Welcome! I grew up in a small town about 30 miles north of Grand Rapids, MI and now live in South Carolina. I love playing the courses in Michigan whenever I make it back to visit family. Great golf area!
