I have had good luck with the SM6 wedges the last couple of years.

I just started gaming the 60* black PM grind, so far so good.

Check out Ben Hogans. They just started selling direct to consumer for $95 each which is a good deal for these clubs:

Mizuno T7's really have my attention right now. The 45-55 have a straighter leading edge, and the 56-62 are only slightly rounded. Plus, they are forged, come in 2 colors, and feature Boron... but they offer every loft from 45-62, that's a bunch.

These are awesome, very versatile.

A lot depends upon what you had. Also there is nothing wrong with 54,60. Sometimes better players prefer a little larger gap between there last two wedges. It encourages creativity. It just depends upon your game and your wedge before the 54.

Good luck - by the time this thread is done you are going to have a recommendation for every wedge on the market. :)

I have never had wedges that are better than my Edels. The relief and resultant versatility are unmatched. Feel, looks, personalization, weighting, etc can't be matched by major OEMs unless you're on Tour. $180 each, but WELL worth it!

I play Clevelands RTX 2.0 50* and RTX 3.0 54* & 58*. I demoed the Vokey SM6s as well. I didn't see a big difference between the two, but I've played Clevelands for a long time so went with them. They are good wedges. Look and feel is really good and they produce a lot of spin when needed. Just go demo some different brands and find something where the look and feel gives you confidence.

I had always played Cleveland, Mizuno, or Callaway wedges but finally tried the Vokeys with the SM6 design and I LOVE them! They give me so much confidence over the ball. You should definitely at least check them out before making a purchase.

Agree with this post. They are very solid. There is something about the V sole thingy (official term) that is just amazing

Liked them a lot just not more than my Callaway wedges. The feel is fantastic and very versatile. Just had better luck with the MD PM grinds in the higher lofts so the SM6s are not in the bag. Overall very solid offering and a nice improvement over the SM5s.

I second the Hogan comment.  The V-Sole technology basically means there are two separate grinds on the bounce, allowing you to use each club as a normal wedge, square to the target, etc, or open the face for a "Mickelson like" flop shot.  I used to try that with my TM RAC wedges and  I would get a lump of lettuce and a short, fat miss.

cant go wrong at 95/club-

Just ordered Vokey SM6 wedges, a 50°, a 56° bent to 55° and a 60°. That gives me the perfect gapping from my wedges. I also got them with the same shafts as my irons. Go and try lots and see how they feel and work for you. The SM6s were the best over all for me.
