south_paw51
The last time I went looking for shafts I found the glorious yellow and purple shaft known as the proforce gold. I have also been using rifle in my irons for as long as I can remember. UST seems to have stopped making them, and it appears that Rifle got bought by True Temper so I was forced to start looking on eBay. It has been really hard finding exactly what I want has made me start looking around at different shaft manufacturers. I know fitting would help, but I would like to have some sort of idea what I might be looking at. So the question is....... What shafts are you using? Do you love them or are you still tinkering with finding something better?
GolfJunkie302
Project X HZRDUS black 6.0 shaft in my driver. Love it! Gets my spin rate down to normal and really helps me get the ball in the air. KBS C-Taper shafts in my irons. Also pretty good. I would like to get stiffer shafts for my irons and also ones that lower my trajectory... Nunfa0
Just gone to xp95 R300 shafts in my irons. They really give me the feeling of being able to swing the club with great rhythm and I don't have to try to "hit" the ball. revkev
I'm a graphite guy - I currently have Aldiss rogues in my irons - I'm not married to them and believe I could go back to a bit lighter but we will see as in I'm going for a fitting soon. I love my Kinetex in my Driver - it's the first time that I've ever taken a shaft along with me from one Driver head to the next. It pops for me. chershey
I just started using the PX HZRDUS Yellow in my driver and I think I'm in love. It's extremely stable but with great feel. I may have found my favorite driver shaft on the market. For irons, I love the Aerotech Steelfiber graphite shafts. They offer most of the benefits of graphite but with superior dispersion, similar to steel, and the lower ball flight I was looking for. PMookie
I really like my iron shafts, which were selected based on a fitting: KBS C-Taper Lite. Great feel, very good distance, and very consistent for me. I LOVE my Tour AD-DI shaft in my hybrid! Perfect feel and flight for that club!!! Lastly, I've been through a couple fittings lately and the Hzrdus Black for my driver has been a ridiculous combination for numbers and consistency! Great shaft!
