Was watching golf over the weekend and saw a commercial for 18birdies golf app. Was wondering if anyone has given it a try? I will my next round but that is not for at least another week if not 2.

I downloaded it but it required a ton of data input so I stopped. Plus the useful GPS features cost money so I just uninstalled.

I've been using it since the beginning of the season and it's worked really well, but they are starting to charge for a membership. GPS works really well and they keep all your stats for you if you input them, but since they're starting to charge, I'll have to look into whether or not it's worth however much they're charging.

After checking the app again, they do have a free version with GPS and stats, but the premium version ($4.99/mo; $44.99/yr) has the pictured features

I have used it for several rounds now and really enjoy it. Most the stuff that I use is free anyway. I think the subscription price is a bit high in comparison to other apps similar in nature. If they were to drop the price by about $10 on the yearly subscription I probably subscribe.

I also only use the free features, but if you're really into the social/social media aspect of the app (Dream Games) then it's a great app.
