SPY VIP Tony Covey MGS Posted September 2, 2010 SPY VIP Share Posted September 2, 2010 So over the course of the golf season, I've managed to rack up $275 dollars in ProShop credit at my club. The winnings come from our handicap league, Mens Association, and various tournaments. The thing is, as you might expect, working for MGS, I have basically 0 need for new golf equipment (certainly not clubs anyway). I'll probably dump about $35 into a few pair of socks, but beyond that I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it (and it expires at the end of the season). I'm thinking about maybe a new push cart, a shirt or two perhaps, but beyond that, I'm clueless. What would you spend $275 on when the last thing you need is a club? jamo
A new pair of spikes? And stock up on the actual soft spikes that go on them? Other than that, a few bags of tees, a bunch of my favorite glove, and some premium golf balls. Clothing if thee is any money left over. Moecat
$275 gives you a nice discount on a new range finder or GPS. Or how about a new bag?

Would you think less of me if I told you I never walk? Actually, I always walk, and a ClicGear is something I've been thinking quite a bit about. I have a Sun Mountain now, it's about 5 years old, and the brakes require constant adjusting. The clicgear looks a bit nicer. That may be what I end up doing. SargeDesign
I would just stock up on stuff that is 'replaceable' like balls, gloves, spikes, etc. For me it'd be: $100 - Balls $55 - Gloves $10 - Tees $10 - Spikes $100 - clothes Quote SARGE BLOG: Helping people win the internet since the day I started helping people win the internet. Matt Saternus
Whenever I have some credit that's burning a hole in my pocket, I buy the little things that I know I will need later: balls, grips, spikes, and maybe clothes. Tyk
The other thing I might consider with that much credit, if I truly had nothing else I needed would be some kick ass custom shoes, either the Footjoy Icons or the Adidas customs. I don't see myself ever spending that much of my own cash for these, but they sure do look sweet!
