2017 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship Preview, Pairings, and Lots More

In looking at your report, the most interesting aspect to me is:  of the 156 players, 124 of them are 20 years old or younger and only 4 are over the age of 25.   Again, I found that interesting, I'm not sure what to make of it, if anything.

Was watching this last night.  Chia Yen Wu won her match in the longest USGA 18 hole match by having the match go 30 holes which beat the previous record of 28 holes.   She made some long putts to stay in the match including a 70 footer when her opponent had 3 feet to win.  She isn't a long hitter but hit the ball very straight.
