These look awesome! They do look like the 695MB's a little bit...although smoother and better lines. Are any tour pros putting them to use soon? I would love a top line picture although it looks like they might be invisible from above.....maybe Paddy will slide them in the bag for the RC, I think the cavity backs are making him sloppy. Nothing like a knife to make you remember that ball contact is king.

They do. I'm no fan of OEMs, but it's not because they don't make a good product. W/S has- their Ci and Pi lines were very good (though in my opinion, the Ci7 was the best looking). I don't know why W/S doesn't get a lot of love from the "Hot Lists"- they get some, but not compared to the Titleists, TMs and Nikes of the world. To me, that is a travesty.

I drool more for NOT having TM or Nike on it

LOL- SO true!

This is pure Wilson-I don't believe there is a Titleist that looks remotely like this. Will the head size be similar to the 59 or larger. I remember this blade to originally be larger. Thanks

  • 2 weeks later...

I heard that in the 60-70s, Wilson blades were hot items, everyone loved to own a set but yet afraid to use, I agree, they do look very sexy, I also prefer not to have TM or Nike logo on them. Wilson should retain their heritage and pedigree in making blades / muscle backs.

If the set comes with a 2 iron, I'm sold....

Good luck. You might be able to buy it seperatly... that seems to be the OEM's way of handling that nowadays.

Let's hope so, GolferX. It's nice to see a company not sell out to the next new gimmick... maybe W/S will hold true.
