Miboy62
Must of been a hard decision for her. But she showed something about herself by thinking about the team. AH1980MN
Sad. I was hoping to see Jessica and Nelly Korda both make the team, I guess we'll have to wait a couple years. ole gray
Not sure Paula was the best choice. She hasn't been playing well for a while. True however I wonder if she was picked to bring more "star" power to the event? cnosil
True however I wonder if she was picked to bring more "star" power to the event? I think that is likely. Read reports that there were some feelings hurt when creamer and pressel didn't get invites. I think having the best Americans even if it isn't the big names exposes the American public to a new group of players beyond the current "star" names Driver: G400 Max 9* w/ KBS Tour Driven Fairway: TS3 15* w/Project X Hzardous Smoke Hybrids: 915H 21* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 24* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype Irons: TR20V 6-11 w/Vizard TR20-85 Graphite Wedge: 54/12D, 60/8M w/:Accra iWedge 90 Graphite Putter: TM-180 Testing: Backups: Milled Collection RSX 2, mFGP2, Futura 5W Member: MGS Hitsquad since 2017
Philly Golf Guy
Hopefully Creamer gets all fired up for being left off initially and plays better than she has recently. TheWahoo
Hopefully Creamer gets all fired up for being left off initially and plays better than she has recently. I agree, I would hope that the circumstances of her inclusion on the team puts "a fire in her belly", so to speak. For what it may be worth, at the British Open finishing tied for 16th, she was the highest finishing American that was not already on the team. Kor.A.Door
Korda was never going to play, waiting until the picks were made was all drama. Creamer knew well ahead of this that she was in, it was not a shock to her that she wasn't one of the 2 captains picks. There are some good matchups in this cup, but I think the edge goes to the Euros this time, it will be fun to watch, its golf and you never know how each individual will play on a given day. Kanoito
According to Inkster: The reason why I put Paula in the hat was she'd be there,†said Inkster on a conference call just moments ago. “She knows what's going on. She has the experience. She's playing well. First she says she hasn't been playing well the last 1.5-2 years that's why she wasn't picked... and now she's playing well... go figure...
