My wife does not eat steak, but I would wager good money she'd eat that one as good as it looks with the mushrooms and onions. Those portabella mushrooms on the side look phenomenal also.

Sautéed them with olive oil and crushed pepper and the Marsala wine finish was good. Those portabella mushrooms weren’t expensive but damn good

That reminds me of a story.

While on a business trip to Livermore CA, I went out to dinner with a couple of buddies (they got me started playing golf).  We went to a restaurant that had a sign outside that said: "If it isn't the best steak you've ever eaten, it's free."

The steak was good, but when I asked my buddy if it was the best steak he's had, he said no; he'd had better.  The waiter came around and I told him my buddy said it wasn't the best steak he's had.  The waiter got the manager.  He took my buddy's steak off the bill, and said "Don't come back."  The sign outside was gone the next day.

How we’re the cauliflowers? My wife made Buffalo the other day in the oven. We’re good but not as crispy as I would have liked .

I should've deep fried them, but I was trying to keep it a little healthier. Air fryer probably would've been better option than the oven as well. Came out good but not as crispy as the chicken, even tho it was the same baking powder and flour mixture. Though, I did add a little milk to turn it into a batter, since it's obviously not going to stick to cauliflower. Tasted just like the chicken though.

No pics, but I did mini sweet peppers in the air fryer on Saturday because it was way too cold to do them on the griddle and I have to say that were as good, if not better than doing them on the griddle.

Put them in a ziplock with some olive oil and garlic salt, give them a shake and let them sit for a bit. Heat your air fryer to 400° for 5 minutes. Whack the peppers in for 15 minutes shaking half way through.

Made this my last night to cook at work. Slow cooker pork and some sides. I earned the nickname Soul Food at work from cooking these type dishes and I am Ok with that.

I tried them twice and I just don't like the taste. Same with spinach, I eat it raw but the flavour changes when it's cooked and I just don't like it.

My wife make spinach and tortellini soup...the flavour of the soup disguises the cooked spinach. That's about the only cooked spinach dish I can stomach.

Made peanut butter from scratch today and I used some of it in dog treats for my mutts. Ground up some oatmeal to a flower as the binder and roasted a pumpkin then put that, peanut butter, and the oatmeal flower and whole oatmeal into the mixer and put that into the oven. Dogs love it

How about some Philly chicken / ribeye steaks on the flat top?  Ribeyes from our local town butcher were $19.99/lb so in an effort to save some $ I cut it with some chicken breasts. Boss sauce is a nice and sweet finish sauce that rounds out the flavor a little.

Volunteers have the commercial kitchen but there are no rules saying we can’t use it. It’s night and day a better setup than what we have, hibachi is coming up soon
