4/9 but having issues with the appraiser not doing their damn job... Ordered and paid for the appraisal on 3/8 and all of a sudden this guy goes to Colorado on an emergency. Pretty irritating.

Is your inspection policies pretty strict? Around here ours are pretty stringent

I have no idea tbh, first time we're buying a house. Our condo was brand new construction so we never went through the process. Supposedly this appraisal was going to be a drive-by initially, then changed to a "normal" one, then this guy goes and effs off to Colorado

They came out great. I’ll probably do a little more brown sugar next time and not put the potatoes on because I had to leave them on the grill for about 50 Minutes they got a little to crispy. But that’s nitpicking

Some scampi for Good Friday

So a few months back Mrs. @sirchunksalot made sausage/country gravy and I mentioned that I never made it before. Well, that all changed tonight!

Made the gravy and it came out KILLER, along with the biscuits. I love gravy, and no one in Hawaii really eats country gravy so it's nice that I know how to make it now

The chicken fried steak however... Let's just say I'm gonna need to revisit the recipes because it was garbage, LOL.

That gravy looks delicious! I'm glad it turned out so well and now you've got me wanting some.

Open up a breakfast shop strictly for biscuits gravy and eggs you’ll make a killing if no one else makes it!

Dinner last night was a teriyaki glazed Sockeye salmon with a side of Asian slaw. Forgot to post last week's dessert which was a paleo orange cake with a keto cream cheese icing. The cake was the most moist cake I've ever tasted.

Did pulled pork today for the guys on shift. Used Osmos honey chipotle rub and made a chipotle honey bbq sauce to go along with it. Cooked to 207 and pulled I normally pull at 200 but I left the house at 185* and let it ride in the off oven. Tastes good can’t wait to mix it with the sauce tonight I’ve made the sauce before with my homemade rub but I’m using this store rub up so I can use the shaker. Top photo was after I wrapped it ran out of charcoal quicker than normal so my bark didn’t get as set as normal but high winds and no insulation on the ol Smokey will cause that.

Looks delicious. Love me some fried cauliflower rice. I also have a good "Spanish" cauliflower rice that is excellent.

This is yellow taiI, I usually pick up 4 steaks when it's on sale at Kroger for $7.99/lb. There is a fishmonger in town that sells Ahi for about $25/lb.

My wife insisted we cook out at my parents today. I made my world famous “Good luck” burgers served with moms potato salad. Weekend backyard dinners with my wife, daughter and parents is the good vibes stuff I need in my life.

Started to ferment a pizza dough for this weekend. Doing a 24 hour room temp ferment then 2 days in the fridge. This is a no kneed dough so I just combine everything and let it do it’s thing.

My most lovely better half is away this evening. She made me “Spanish Rice”. I grilled a pork chop, seasoned with Slap Ya Mama, and enjoyed some leftover sautéed cabbage. My beverage of choice was a White Russian Imperial Stout from Aurora Brewing.
