Trying to cut calories a little so I didn’t put dinner on buns. I know there’s a lot of food on the plate but a bunch of it went to the dogs. Butcher box hotdog and hamburgers along with air fryer sweet potato fries from scratch. Turned out very good the dogs liked the burger pieces they got from me, they love sweet potato, and they didn’t get any hotdog.

I had to Google what dynamite sauce was, and I think you might be right. I almost wish I would have had some shrimp to try to add some kick to. It's not the most spicy of chili's, but it still had a good bit of pep to it.

French Canadian recipe. So damn good. Give it a whirl next time. Hot Italian sausages with some jalapeños is fantastic 🤩

My pepere always did it around Christmas time. Big dynamite night, sweet and hot batches. My dad has that recipe now it’s so damn good

I don't know if my dad has their recipe. I know my aunt does, my memere has been living with her since my pepere passed away last April. Sadly her dementia is so bad at this point she no longer remembers any of her recipes, but she still loves to eat everything my aunt makes for her. Gonna have to see if I can get the recipe from her!

I love the old family recipes, I picked up mom's recipe for chili, chicken tenders, and gravy. Wish I would have learned how to make cornbread. I might have to check with my sister to see if she's got the old recipe tin at her house.

Ah sorry that’s tough. Such an easy mish mosh of stuff but the one ya have as a kid and teen is the one ya remember, not the same if it’s not right

That’s where both my mem and pep went when they moved down here (not sure where in Canada) it’s quite possibly the same. So many restaurants in Woonsocket do dynamites

Time for some dessert.

One box of graham cracker crumbs, 2 1/3 cans of sweetened condensed milk, one bag of mini chocolate chips. Throw them in the oven on 350*, and start watching them after about 30 minutes. Chicken breast tenders marinated in lemon garlic, and Margaritaville pineapple and lime liquid. Throw on the grill then dust with Stubb’s chicken rub, and Emeril’s chicken rub. Once cooked, chop them up, sprinkle on some lemon pepper, and some Adobo, put them on soft/fluffy tortillas with shredded lettuce, feta cheese, and Greek dressing. Yummmm. My kids love them. So we decided to grill some burgers last night and I used it as an excuse to cook just about everything I could find so I wouldn't have to worry about cooking for most of the week. Nope not when I use butter at the end I use stainless when I go that route. Medium high until it releases then I know it has a nice crust, flip it over and throw butter on top of it(it will lose a little of the crust by doing this), then when the butter melts I turn the heat down to low and baste it with the melted butter until both sides have that beautiful crust. This is the bottom of it that I didn’t baste much that’s why it looks so good. I think total cook time was 6 minutes to a beautiful medium rare. 
@sirchunksalotyea butcher box has some really nice steaks all grass fed and I love the taste of everything I get from there.

Took the time and went the extra mile today. 
 

Some mandolin shredded iceberg with some hothouse tomato layered and stacked up on some pepper bacon and a couple slices of soft soft soft bread. Add some Mayo. 
 

it’s a nice and a fresh BLT.
