Alot of it I think is just figuring out what works and what doesnt. If you are looking for any meals got plenty. Definitely have go to's that our son loves and everyone else seems to as well.

The kids have been the hardest but we are getting there with them. My son was getting headaches daily and we cut out most sugar and that has really helped him so since we are changing things for him already we have rolled into some of the foods my wife and I eat. Getting easier, but going slowly on the uptake, unsurprisingly for a 5 year old.

I was going to originally say if I walked into a dinner and saw that place setting, I would know I'm out of my league and walk out. But...I saw the tanto, nunchaku, and shuriken and realized it might get interesting.

Did the ham yesterday for today. Feels like -22° when I put it on and I finished it hot for the last 15 minutes.

Mmmm meat candy! What cut did you use? Chuck Roast? This post totally reminded me that I have a chuck somewhere in the freezer that I bought for burnt ends a while back.

Today's lineup.. garlic stuffed prime rib, coffee rub and sweet smoky molasses rub coke can chickens. Both wet brined overnight. Meat heaven!

Yes and it's stupid expensive. I can get a whole packer brisket for less $ per pound than a chuck roast.

Yeah I've noticed that stew meat isn't really a "budget-friendly" option these days. My local WinCo constantly has Tri tip and Brasilian Sirloin tip (Picanha) running for less than $6/lb.. and often has sales in the $3 range. But chuck and other roast cuts are like $7++. Tri tip and picanha are 10 times better cuts.. so WTF?! 

This reminds me.. we were originally going to do a spiral ham + chicken but the Prime Rib per lb was $2 cheaper than the ham pack.. so it quickly became a no-brainer and executive decisions were made.

My mother started her doctorate when I was going in to 4th grade. Similar to others here- if you want to eat- cook. Oh, and feed your sister! I don't do fu-fu but I have some things that a lot of people ask for. I love this time of year because I enjoy eating turkey. I generally make 4-6 turkeys from the middle of Nov to New Years. I have it down to a science. Butt Rub forever, on everything. Love that stuff.

FW: Callaway Epic 3,5, heaven wood w/ regular shaft (driver shaft in 3 wood, 3 wood shaft in 5 wood, 5 wood shaft in heaven wood, all three set at neutral plus 1 degree)

Hybrids: Callaway BB19 4,6,7 (4 set at neutral plus 1 degree and 6 and 7 set at neutral minus 1 degree for gapping purposes)

This is to funny. I believe you have everything required. The tanto will work wonders that that meat course knife will never hack. Love it.

I live In Texas so I use my smoker plenty.  Best gift I got last year was a MEATER +.  Wireless and Bluetooth temp probe to your phone or tablet using their app. I don't even have to go outside to check the smoker.  I can be on the GC and check it.  Wonderful device.

MattF, hopefully she uses the spicy Italian sausage. I usually add a couple.of shakes of crushed red pepper, increase the garlic by at least 1 clove, and occasionally I make it with San Marzano tomatoes. My wife hates it when I improvise, and she knows, but when she doesn't and I do it she usually likes whatever I am making even more. Enjoy sir.

If you like seafood and spicy here is a good one I threw together a few years back. Serve over pasta or rice. I like farfalle as one option.

I came up with this one a few years back. If you like seafood and spicy it can be a good dish. Makes enough for 4-6 easy. Serve it Ober pasta or rice depending on your preference.
