Negative sorry I do however cook large portions even though I'm single lol. I cook it for the firehouse and the guys absolutely love the hell out of it.

That looks good! The wife and I were talking about making some from scratch last week because the stuff from the store seems to be getting thinner and thinner. That looks nice and hearty.

It's pretty easy I taught myself how to do this and I season it as I go. I put brown sugar in it because it always reminded my mom of my grandmother's recipe and now I like it too much to change. I sweat onions in extra virgin olive oil with crush red pepper flakes, add tomato paste and garlic once translucent,  then I add diced(preferably whole tomatoes) cook them down until smooth then I add a little tomato puree because it takes a long time for that step and it's convenient to increase my amount. This time I browned Italian sausage and put it in the sauce knowing I was putting it over cheese tortellini. I let it go for only 5 hours today normally it's a 8 to 10 hour simmer for me. I'm not Italian but I do like cooking Italian food.

Gotta start taking some pics. SWMBO was a horrible cook when we got married, I mean terrible.
She worked hard at it and became really good.
After we retired (9 years) cooking ceased and we ate out all the time. Now here comes C19 and everything changed. She started cooking again and has regained her prowess. Not happy about it but “is what it is”.

My wife doesn't like to cook, but she's OK at it.  When we bought our house last December, during the house tour she never even looked at the kitchen!!

We tend to share cooking duties.  The man puts the meat on the grill.  🤣
Actually, there are a few other "usuals" that I do as well.

we never have leftover pasta, just endless tupperwares of leftover sauce.

My good friend and mentor, not to mention VP Goodyear and avid golfer, was Italian and he did a lot of cooking (passed away 10 years ago at age 85.  He said everything starts with 6 cloves of garlic.

I think we’ve all unfortunately lost “good guys” like you’re friend.
They will all be missed.

His name was DeVito, and he introduced me to the game of golf.  So I have very fond memories of our times together.

This weekend would have been my local forums annual national event. A few of us have got together the last 2 years to have the Wine Wankers dinner. I’ve hosted the last 2, so decided I should cook and drink something to try to keep things normal in these Covid times.

Started with local mussels cooked in a Thai style. Served with a 2018 Gewurztraminer that was as beautiful accompaniment.

Main was Rack of Lamb with a Quince, Raspberry and Port glaze. Homemade bacon with baby peas were a great accompaniment,  Served with Bellarine Estate 2007 Shiraz that I helped make. 13 year old Shiraz that is seriously good and will continue to improve .  Only low point is that the Shiraz is my last bottle.

It's been a week since I made pizza so I fermented some dough up and cooked some today using the left over spaghetti sauce from earlier post
