Dinner last night was stir fired Korean beef with a side of horseradish cauliflower mash. The beef was one of the 5 best things I've ever eaten! #Flavortown

Dinner last night was pulled pork cooked in A&W Root Beer in the slow cooker for 8 hours. I had the meat sweats by the end of the meal, but so worth it!

There's root beer, then there's A&W.  Love this recipe, and I love the meat sweats I just acquired 🙂

Smoked some ribs, also smoked some bacon while I had the smoker fired up. Served with some cheesy cauliflower.

The following demonstrates how good the ribs came out. They were my best effort so far.

Used to love me some Broccoli Cheddar soup from Scheldes.  (Think that’s how it was spelled).

If you ever find yourself in Traverse City, Mi.  Stop by the Mackinac Brewing Co. and pick up a BBQ pork sandwich and a bowl of their cheddar ale… amaze.

My wife's splurge meal on vacation is any local bbq pork sandwich so this truly speaks to me...

Never been there but have heard of it.  Maybe on one of those traveling Foody shows.

Made tacos for dinner. Was too hungry after a busy shift so no pictures. When at my family’s house in Ohio they had a taco seasoning with chipotle and cocoa powder in it so I added them to the taco seasoning I made from scratch and it is dang good!!!

Tomorrow for the guys on shift we are doing chili dogs and tater tots not healthy but easy and quick

Chili dogs are going on my menu for next week.  I am missing a good old fashioned Michigan style Coney Dog… healthy or not.  They bring joy, that is part of being healthy.

We did biscuits and gravy for dinner tonight, used to be a Sunday morning thing,  but now we are going 300 different directions.  Hard to sit down for a good breakfast anymore.

Oh yeah.  Forgot about that one.  The sweet smell Of melting Swiss cheese mixed with B.O., the grease trap funk, and a hint of diesel… makes me want to hurl just thinking about it.
