This and Picanha are the 2 red meat staples in the Marler crew. My local WinCo sells both and they are always $6 or less/lb which is a steal! And the quality is terrific. Tonights menu, a drunken ribeye cooked medium rare, grilled yellow squash and smashed potatoes using baby Yukon golds. All washed down with an Enso Double IPA from Equilibrium Brewing. Grilled them to medium rare with decent char. They were really good, one if the better pieces of steak I’ve had in a while. It's just not something I seek out and whenever I hear someone is cooking a pesto dish I cringe a little... Here's the thing...I have enough basil in my backyard garden to feed the Italian armed forces. So tonight...it's pesto pasta...
