Such a beautiful putter but I hit everything out of the toe with it due to it not having an alinement line.

this left me with inconsistent lags and misses from 10 feet in.

It did not stay in the bag But the one I bought after that just keeps performing.

This is just how having no alinement line affected me over time others might like that look.

Sorry if I missed it, did you buy another Betti or something else?

I just thought you drew your own center line.

Yes I did draw my own centre line this did help but once doubt is in the back of my mind I had to let the putter go.

I moved on to a Cameron and crown M1 and It`s been in the bag since.

Hopefully my memory doesn't deceive me, but don't I remember you talking recently about looking into Evnroll? What's wrong with Betty?

 

 

Did the magic wear off? If so, what are you noticing now that wasn't apparent before?

I did mention an Evnroll. Reason being I recently teed it up with MGS member kingcscott who games the ER2. He was putting incredibly well with it so yea it peaked my interest. I'm still in love with Betty and she ain't leaving the bag. In fact Scott will tell you I was rolling Betty pretty sweet that day too. To be honest I have been interested in a Cure putter as well. One day if the price is right I might pick up an Evnroll, Cure, or something totally different. It's kind of like having a pretty woman and another one walks by that turns your head. You're not looking to leave the one you're with but the other one sure does look good

Update on Betty.  I put a Flat Cat  grip on her and lawd have mercy she's back in the sack!  I love that pretty little heifer....

I sent an email this morning to Bettinardi about a little nick on my putter.  It hurts my heart when I look down and see that nick.

Yea this needs an extra coat of finish/protection. I love my putter. I want it to look good too because I'm diligent in taking care of it. No idea what caused that chip...

I'm have Betty in the bag right now and still love her.   I tried a Walter Hagen for a brief period and I must say it puts a smooth roll on the ball however Betty just feels right to me. 

 

They took care of the rust situation on the first putter I was sent with a replacement.  I am waiting a reply on the nick on the topline of my current putter.  I sent an email to see what it involved to get it fixed.   I should hear something today.

I got a response today from Bettinardi concerning the chip on the topline of my Queen B #9 putter.   They are sending me a new putter and a return label so I can send my current one back.   Wow!  I'm blown away with Bettinardi and the customer service they have provided me.   IMO they stand 100% behind their products and assure customers that quality control will not be an issue.Thank you Bettinardi !

I wonder if they replace the putter if you weren't an MGS forum tester and just chalk it up to general wear and tear/user caused cosmetic damage

They had me send a picture of the nick and requested a receipt of purchase.  I told them that I did not purchase it directly and I was reviewing the putter for MGS. I'm not sure what the return damage policy is however I'm just grateful they took care of the chipped issue.

Ran by UPS and sent the chipped one back too so all is good.  Bettinardi is truly a world class customer service company.  You can bet the farm that I'll always be a fan and be proud to spread the word how good they have been to me.

Yea no doubt she's a looker!    I get sooooooo many compliments on how sharp Betty looks.   Then I have folks asking me where I got her and I get to give them my join MyGolfSpy and get active.  Opportunities galore for those who show real interest.

I'm happy to report that my Queen B #9 (Betty) is still holding her spot in my bag.   I love this putter and she has a permanent spot in my bag.

I had the Bettinardi Ben Hogan Hawk BHB11 all Aluminium with . I could'nt be precise because i am a 34" lenght user and this one was a 33" inches .So i gave it to my Brother, a shorter Left Handed golfer like me ,he was struggling with a Odyssey mallet ,(I have to say that he has lost 30,% eye sight on his wright eye, because of a cortical breakage) he picked Up the Hogan Bettinardi and BAM,π~ he began to Hole it ,one after another 5 footers,6,7,8,9 and so on,he is so  confident with it that he makes is short put using one hand only, that's anoying for me.

I would certainly love to Play and write a report about the 34" inches SS38 .And i am sure i could do much better with the Wright lenght and grip size.

You are so wright about quality piece .I saw their youtube video on their fabrication step by step it is something to see.

They were very avant-garde with milling process .They were probably the first among many other Makers to use it  .It makes me think of the Avionic method also use in F1.
