Kor.A.Door
This was all about the money, however, he lasted much longer than most thought he would. If he were to switch to only boxing, he would probably make a good living doing it. Lefties are always in their Right Mind
NiftyNiblick
There's no doubt in my mind that Floyd carried McGregor to collect some proposition bets. He's been known to do that, and I recognized signs of it watching the match. McGregor was more competitive than I expected, but Mayweather, despite not being the most entertaining fighter, is probably the best of all time. Ever. And I've followed boxing for sixty-five years. Also, a huge draw as people wanted so hard to see him lose that they bought the PPVs every time he faced somebody with a pulse. At the very end, McGregor was saved from life-changing devastation by that stoppage. Oscar DeLahoya was the only fighter to ever win a single judge's scorecard against Mayweather. I had Oscar slightly ahead in that one too, but at the end of the day, Mayweather just didn't lose. Tonight HBO and Showtime are running cards directly against one another. Stupid, and not good for the sport. I'll watch one and DVR the other. Golf is never going to be for me anymore. I think that I'm beginning to get over it. I have to. NiftyNiblick
Can't be sure of what I was thinking when I revived this thread, gentlemen, but I'm certainly not surprised at the response to my post. Hopefully, I'll do better next time, but even then, the road to hell is paved with good intentions..
