There is definitely something off and "yuck" about the look of this iron. Not appealing at all. To me it's just a place for water and dirt to reside and start the rusting process. I realize it will take a while to completely rust but it's amazing with all the chemicals their using for grass and such and the water who knows mabe a part of the iron could get weakend over a season or two.
